Project 75|75|75 Goes Live

This year sees Cleenol turn 75. A family run independent developer and producer of cleaning and hygiene solutions, Cleenol has always worked to give back to the community in which it operates. So, this year, as a celebration of this ethic, we are launching our 75x75x75 Charity fundraiser. Spread across the full 12 months, Cleenol has challenged itself and its customers and suppliers to raise £75,000 through participation of at least 75 people at 75 events. These events can be large or small, group or personal and will cover a gamut of types of activity. From the 3 Peaks Challenge to a weight loss programme, to 24 gaming endurance challenges and many more to come.

3 charities will form the core of the recipient base. Katharine House Hospice has a long-standing relationship with Cleenol. We have been involved with the charity from its inception and over the last 30 years have continued to provide cleaning supplies and any charity fundraising receipts to the home. This year we also sponsored the development of their EPiC online resource to provide a broad spread of support services to people facing the challenges around end of life.

The second charity focuses on another area where Cleenol pays particular focus and is one of the drivers behind the culture and management approach in the company. Oxfordshire Mind is dedicated to making sure that anyone experiencing a mental health issue gets both support and respect. They have been campaigning for better mental health in Oxfordshire for over 50 years through their campaigning and support services. Like all local Minds, they are an independent charity that is proud to be affiliated with the national Mind association.

The third charity selected by all the employees in an open vote, is the Thames Valley Air Ambulance. As the providers of emergency support 365 days a year, they work hard to give everyone the best chance of survival after an accident or in an emergency situation. In 2022 they attended over 3,000 incidents. All of this is provided without official government funding, so is solely reliant on charity donations.

We have launched a dedicated webpage for people to follow the money raising, to add events and to donate to all the events that are generated. Make sure to follow the site here https://project75.mycleenol.com/
