At Cleenol, community has always been at the heart of what we do. As we marked our 75th anniversary, we wanted to celebrate in a way that reflected the values we hold dear. That’s how Project 75 was born, an ambitious initiative to raise £75,000 for three local charities that make a real difference in people’s lives.

We’re incredibly proud to announce that we’ve hit that target, thanks to the generosity and dedication of our employees, customers, and suppliers. On March 5th, we celebrated this fantastic achievement with a special cheque presentation ceremony at our Banbury headquarters, creating a moment to remember for everyone involved.

A Community Effort From Start to Finish

Project 75 was the vision of our Managing Director, Sam Greaves, and was embraced with enthusiasm by the whole Cleenol team. Over the course of the year, our employees threw themselves into a wide range of fundraising activities, from skydives and endurance challenges to outdoor cinema nights and community events.

Each event, no matter how big or small, contributed to the impressive fundraising total and brought people together for a shared cause.

Supporting Three Incredible Charities

Our team carefully selected three local charities that reflect values close to our hearts:

  • Katharine House Hospice – A long-standing partner of Cleenol, providing compassionate end-of-life care and support to patients and their families.

  • Oxfordshire Mind – A vital mental health charity offering support and resources to those facing mental health challenges across the region.

  • Thames Valley Air Ambulance – A critical emergency service that relies entirely on charitable donations to deliver life-saving care when it’s needed most.

Each of these charities does exceptional work, and we’re honoured to support their missions through Project 75.

A Visit From Dame Prue Leith

To mark the occasion, we were thrilled to welcome Dame Prue Leith to our headquarters. Best known for her role on The Great British Bake Off, Dame Prue toured our facilities, met the team behind the project, and took part in the official cheque handover. Her presence added an extra sparkle to an already special day, highlighting the impact that businesses can have when they come together to support their communities.

Looking Ahead

The cheque presentation marked more than just the end of Project 75, it was a celebration of what can be achieved when people work together toward a shared goal. At Cleenol, we believe strongly in the importance of corporate social responsibility, and we look forward to continuing to support our community in the years to come.

To everyone who took part, donated, supported, or cheered us on - thank you. Together, we’ve proven that with collaboration and compassion, we can make a meaningful difference.
